Wool Felt Flowers

Don't you just love wool felt flowers?  I know I do.  I sell a lots of them in my Etsy shop and people that don't buy them are always asking me what people do them. I don't ask but sometimes they volunteer the information and once in a while even send me a picture. When Janice sent me a picture I fell in love with what she a had done. So I went out to my yard and gathered some twigs.

 

This is my version of the picture she sent.

I got out my Elmers glue and went to town making flowers.

Then I made more.

Once I started I was having so much fun I couldn't stop. I really liked the little white vase so I painted a mason jar white to see what that would look like.  But I think I like the unpainted jar with the burlap ribbon much better.

Yes, it's safe to say I got a little carried away.

The picture really doesn't do justice and are much cuter in person.

Tulips

Weeds don't bother me, if they bother you, perhaps you should look the other way.

I have a special gift.  I can look into a garden and only see the beauty and not the weeds.

The Gnomes

My little gnome garden is now a secret garden.

I cut the grape vine down to almost nothing and this is what happened.

I have been fiddling around with Picasa trying to make a collage but just can't get it to work on my computer, but with a little help from my friend Kathy and her computer we made it happen. These are just a few flowers and I see I may need a little more color from the opposite side of the color wheel.

A quick trip though my garden

I haven't been posting much on my blog lately, but just to show I'm not just eating bon bons and  sleeping all day I just thought I would take a quick trip thought my garden with my camera before I dash off to work.

Untamed Garden

If my garden had a name it would be called The Untamed Garden.


I just let my morning glories grow where ever they please.

Early morning flowers

I thought I would dash out early this morning and take a couple of shots of my garden. After a quick trip around my garden I realized that evidently many of my flowers don't open until later. I guess this shows my true colors, I'm not a morning person and not much of a gardener.

My Kitchen Window

I don't dare take a picture of anything in my garden until I get out there and do some work. So here is a picture of my kitchen window. The two bigger vases in the back are 2 inches high and I got those from a second hand store. The smaller ones I got from a previous neighbor.
