I can't believe I'm up to #8 already

This quilt top is new enough that it's been on my blog.  It's from a class I took this spring.  You can read about it here, if you wish. It's really not my style or color wave so I was thinking of finishing it and donating it to the nursing home.

Hi Cindy! Catching up on my blogs:) Great UFO's, I know what you mean...they linger in my studio and when I finish one it is such a great feeling! We had a challenge last year in our guild and I did finish a few but I have many more to complete:) At least we are never bored:) Happy winter days to you!

Cindy, you have hit the nail on its proverbial head in this post. What do you do with the projects you no longer want or like? Donate them to an aged care facility. That is a wonderful idea. This brightly coloured quilt might not appeal to you, but elderly people love bright colours. I learnt this when I was training to work in aged care, and I've tested the theory many a time. When their eyesight is poor, dull or dark coloured things can be just a blur, so bright things really do cheer old people.
