Owl Puch cards and more

I have an obsession with punches and am always looking to use them in ways they were not  meant for.  These little boy and girl cards fit the bill.

Then I made some random cards just because
.
For the purple one, I used my crimper and it really gives it a lot of dimension.  The other one is Christmas paper that I want to use up

More brown Paper Bags

I saw this idea on pinterest and thought I would take the idea and run with it.

I cut the bottoms off and stitched across with the machine.

I ripped a page out of an old dictionary and stamped butterflies all over the page then cut them out.

I cut the tops with a fancy dancy scissors.

brown paper bags

Last week I got together with two fellow Stampin' Up demonstrations to make scrap books out of brown paper bags. They had seen the one I was making for my San Francisco/wine country trip and wanted to learn how to do them. Shannon brought along her book binder for us to use and I think there may be one of those in my future.

I still need to add embellishment, pictures and fill the bags with all the treasures.
Since I had my book finished and only needed to bind it I made a little mini recipe holder out of envelopes.

Graduation cards and more

Since we have our first graduation party to go to on Saturday, I thought I better get crackin' and make some cards.  The first one I did in our school colors which are blue, green and silver and I didn't really like it so I tried black and white.

I like the black and white a lot more and it works for any school and college as well, so I that's the route I will go.

I have a lot of left over supplies from previous make and take events.  Usually two days before the event I make up kits for everyone that as RSVP'd, then I always have people that end up not coming. So now I am left with the dilemma of what to do with the leftovers since I already have samples made up I really don't want several more of the exact same card. Not all the projects aren't cards and can't be changed in any shape or form but the ones I can, I try to change up a bit.
This was the original card that we made.

These are the variations.

Back from vacation

I got back from a wonderful trip from San Francisco and wine county with my lovey daughter to fine the new Stampin' Up books on my door step.  Well, actually no, my husband had brought them in the house. I took about 200 pictures so I will spare you the agony of showing them to you but in case you are interested there are about 80 of them are posted on facebook.
I had preordered a couple of things from the book and I think I found my new favorite thing.
Aren't they cool?
This foam like material comes in a package like this.
You can add ink or food coloring or leave white.
Then put the foam like material into little molds.

These I kept white and just used a dauber to ink the edges.

These I just stuck three of them together and once they dry they are permanently together,
They are light as a feather and are going to be so much fun to play around with.
