I went to a garage sale today and found these picture frames that were 3 for 50 cents. I didn't need them but it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Now I just need to make something to put in them.
Here are some birthday cards I received from a fabric post card birthday swap I'm in. I should be getting two more cards but I just couldn't wait to post a picture of them.
These four postcards are for a crazy quilt postcard swap, they will be mailed out on Tuesday. Here is a close up of one of the bullion frogs. I haven't done them for a long time so I need a little more practice.
These are three post cards that are going in the mail, one is for my niece and the other two are for girls that work for us. I try to choose dogs and cats that capture their personalities.
This crazy quilt wool project has been laying around for quite awhile because it just doesn't seem finished to me. After getting a second opinion (thanks Bonnie) I decided to stick it in a frame and look at it for awhile. It's not permanent, so I can always take it out and add more if I think I needs it.
This was a little out of character for me when I joined a swap for a dotee doll. The purple one is the one that I made and sent and the other one isn't from my parter, she never sent one, but the host was kind enough to angel me and the yellow one is the one she made for me. Thanks Jessica.
I needed to get away from my old projects and do something new so I made some fabric beads. These are so quick, easy and totally fun I can see myself getting carried away and making a kazillion of them but since I don't have a clue what I'm going to do with the few I made, let alone a kazillion, I used self control and just made nine for now.
I have been diligently working on a round robin project. I'm the first person to work on Debbie's passion for purple block. This first picture is her whole block and the second picture is the area that I worked on. I'm not quite sure if I'm done or if I will add a few more stitches. I need to remember to save room for the other five people that will be working on it. But it just seems like it needs something else.
I've been spending more time on the road lately than I have been at home. Since I'm not getting much done I decided to take something on the road since my husband was doing the driving. I did a little experimenting with crochet thread to see what I could make for my fabric postcards and crazy quilting. This is what I did, some I'm happy with and can use, and some, well, not so much.
Welcome to my blog. This is where I share my creations, both finished and unfinished. I love to hear from my readers so please feel free to leave a comment. Thanks for stopping by.
