I went to a garage sale today and found these picture frames that were 3 for 50 cents. I didn't need them but it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Now I just need to make something to put in them.

crazy wool project
This crazy quilt wool project has been laying around for quite awhile because it just doesn't seem finished to me. After getting a second opinion (thanks Bonnie) I decided to stick it in a frame and look at it for awhile. It's not permanent, so I can always take it out and add more if I think I needs it.

Fabric Beads
I needed to get away from my old projects and do something new so I made some fabric beads. These are so quick, easy and totally fun I can see myself getting carried away and making a kazillion of them but since I don't have a clue what I'm going to do with the few I made, let alone a kazillion, I used self control and just made nine for now.

Passion for Purple
I have been diligently working on a round robin project. I'm the first person to work on Debbie's passion for purple block. This first picture is her whole block and the second picture is the area that I worked on. I'm not quite sure if I'm done or if I will add a few more stitches. I need to remember to save room for the other five people that will be working on it. But it just seems like it needs something else.

On the road
I've been spending more time on the road lately than I have been at home. Since I'm not getting much done I decided to take something on the road since my husband was doing the driving. I did a little experimenting with crochet thread to see what I could make for my fabric postcards and crazy quilting. This is what I did, some I'm happy with and can use, and some, well, not so much.
