Using up Fabric

In my never ending quest to use up what I have, I've started two new projects.  So today I cut fabric.
Three inch squares and then more fabric.

Lots of 5 1/2 inch squares.
The first project started when my friend Bev came over to play and gave me a few cute pieces of fabric that were too small for her project. I kept looking at them thinking they are just way to stinkin' cute to put into my stash never to be seen again.

So I started a cathedral window project.
I'm not sure how big it will be, my plan is to work on it until I either get tired of it or run out of fabric.  I started with a bolt of white muslin and looking at my stash, I'm pretty sure I know which one will happen first.
My other project is yo yo's, lots and lots of yo yo's. And what am I going to do with all the yo yo's?  That's a good question, but you may have guessed it, I don't have a plan.

Hi Cindy, it is so nice to be able to visit your blog again! My old PC has just about died, so I'm using Ken's laptop at the moment, just to visit my blogger friends.
I did the same as you some time ago and cut my scraps into squares. I wouldn't know how to make one of those Cathedral -quilts, but yo-yos are easy and addictive! I've seen so lovely cushions and patchwork projects using yo-yos, and I'm planning to do them one day!
